Class 1
GENERAL
This class is intended for trucks and Jeeps that are primarily street driven, have minimal Modifications and are street legal. Engine, frame and body must be of same make. IN ADDITION TO ALL GENERAL AND SAFETY RULES - THE FOLLOWING CLASS RULES WILL APPLY.
BODY
  1. Stock steel body (minimal cutting allowed only for tire clearance)
  2. Wheel base must be stock for frame and body.
  3. Firewall cannot be cut, relocated or reshaped.
  4. Must retain factory floor pan.
  5. Flatbeds must meet tech approval.
  6. Must retain stock glass.
  7. Headlights and taillights required (non operational OK)
  8. Front bumper required
  9. Interior cannot be gutted.
  10. Race seats allowed (4 point harness required with race seat)
  11. Must have adequate brakes to stop truck in an emergency situation.
CHASSIS
  1. Full uncut OEM or OEM replacement factory frame front to rear..
  2. OEM style suspensions only - Aftermarket lift kits allowed. (No removal of leaf springs allowed, No fiberglass leaf springs allowed).
  3. Front and rear differentials, transmission and transfer case can be upgraded. No final drives or Unimog axles. (Any OEM or Aftermarket)
  4. NO trans brakes allowed. Enclosed Transfer Case allowed
  5. Fuel tank, battery and radiator must be in stock location.
  6. Maximum 44" Unaltered DOT tires only.
ENGINE
  1. Motor must pull 17 "of vacuum at 800 RPM's. (No Vacuum pumps allowed)
  2. Big block engines in full size or 1 ton trucks only.
  3. No V8's in mini trucks or mini SUV's (Unless OEM)
  4. Engine must be located in stock location.
  5. No aluminium engine blocks or aluminium heads (Unless OEM)
  6. Single gas carb limited to 4150 / 4160 (no Predators, Dominators, no splits, no stretched)
  7. OEM fuel injection only.
  8. Cast aluminium intake only (no tunnel rams or sheet metal intakes)
  9. Headers are allow ed, mufflers are required and exhaust must extend to behind the drivers seat.
  10. NO nitrous, blowers or turbo permitted unless OEM equipment).
Class 2a
GENERAL
This class is intended for trucks and Jeeps that have been modified for competition but still utilize mostly stock components. They need not be street legal, but they should appear street-able. IN ADDITION TO ALL GENERAL AND SAFETY RULES - THE FOLLOWING CLASS RULES WILL APPLY.
BODY
  1. Stock steel or OEM equivalent fiberglass body.
  2. Body must match wheelbase.
  3. Engine must remain in stock OEM mounting location.
  4. A firewall and floor pan must be present protecting driver from engine and drive line components.
  5. Gutting of interior and bed allowed.
  6. Windshield required. (Lexan or equivalent)
  7. Bumpers and mirrors not required.
  8. Driver must sit in stock location.
  9. Race seats allowed. (4 point harness required with race seat)
  10. Must have adequate brakes to stop truck in an emergency situation.
  11. maximum 36" tire size.
CHASSIS
  1. Any unmodified OEM or OEM replacement frame. Must retain two (2) stock cross members (unused brackets and cross members may be removed at the discretion of the builder).
  2. 4 point roll cage required if vehicle is gutted.
  3. Rear suspension=must be leaf-spring unless equipped otherwise from the factory. Ladder bar suspension allowed (No 4-link, 3-link, floaters or coil over shocks).Any OEM factory style front suspension allowed (I.e.) Ford coil spring suspension. (NO relocation of mounting points permitted)
  4. Leaf-spring vehicles must have at least one functional leaf spring at each corner.
  5. Front and rear differentials, transmission and transfer case can be upgraded. No final drives or Unimog axles. (Any OEM or Aftermarket Enclosed Transfer Case allowed)
  6. Radiator must be located in front of motor.
  7. Transmission modifications and trans brakes allowed, (must be shielded)
  8. Maximum 54" unaltered DOT tires
ENGINE
  1. Engine must be same type as truck. (No aluminium blocks allowed)
  2. No V8's in mini trucks or mini SUV's
  3. Engine to be mounted in stock location, (no engine set back allowed)
  4. Aluminium heads allowed.
  5. Any unmodified single gas carburettor allowed (NO alcohol)
  6. OEM fuel injection only.
  7. Vacuum pumps and dry sump s allowed.
  8. Open Downdraft headers are allowed, no upright headers.
  9. NO nitrous,blowers or turbo permitted (unless OEM equipment)
Class 5 (4&6 cylinder)
GENERAL
IN ADDITION TO ALL GENERAL AND SAFETY RULES - THE FOLLOWING CLASS RULES WILL APPLY.
BODY
  1. Body must remain manufacturer recognizable.
  2. Maximum wheel base 150".
  3. Must have a firewall between driver and motor.
  4. Gutting of bed allowed, bed skins OK.
  5. Interior gutting allowed.
  6. Race seats allowed.
CHASSIS
  1. Any OEM or OEM replacement frame. Must retain two (2) stock cross members (unused brackets and cross members may be removed at the discretion of the builder)
  2. Any suspension allowed.
  3. Front and rear differentials, transmission and transfer case can be upgraded. No final drives or Unimog axles. (Any OEM or Aftermarket Enclosed Transfer Case allowed).
  4. Trans brakes allowed.
  5. Maximum 36" unaltered DOT tires only.
ENGINE
  1. Engine must be same type for truck.
  2. Any carburettor or OEM or after market injection system allowed.
  3. Naturally aspirated only.
  4. Open Headers are allowed, NO upright headers allowed.
  5. Must have firewall between engine and driver.
  6. NO Nitrous, blowers or turbo permitted (unless OEM equipment)
  7. Must have adequate brakes to stop truck in an emergency situation.
Class 6 (Unlimited)
GENERAL
IN ADDITION TO ALL GENERAL AND SAFETY RULES - THE FOLLOWING CLASS RULES WILL APPLY.
  1. Must be 4 wheel drive.
  2. Any frame and suspension allowed.
  3. Any engine, transmission combination allowed.
  4. Any power adders allowed.
  5. Any tire combination allowed.
  6. Any fuel allowed.
  7. 90 degree deflector required on any aircraft engine.
  8. Must have adequate brakes to stop truck in an emergency situation.
Outlaw DOT class
GENERAL
IN ADDITION TO ALL GENERAL AND SAFETY RULES - THE FOLLOWING CLASS RULES WILL APPLY.
  1. A maximum tire height of 44" unaltered DOT.
  2. Must have drive-shaft loops.
  3. Must have single carburettor .( Fuel injection Okay)
  4. No turbo or blowers,any header as long as it is not directed toward the spectators.
  5. Must have adequate roll bar for truck.
  6. Must have adequate brakes to stop truck in an emergency situation.
  7. Batteries must be strapped down.
  8. Fuel cell must be strapped down.
  9. Must wear fire suit.
  10. Must wear helmet.
  11. NO 3 or 4 link
  12. Must have fire extinguisher within reach also must have master kill switch within reach of driver while strapped into the truck.
Class 7 (Tractor Tire)
GENERAL
This class is intended for highly modified 4 wheel drive vehicles allowing tube chassis, any engine location and aluminum engine blocks. These vehicles need not resemble any factory produced vehicle. This class is intended for trucks that go through the mud rather than over it. IN ADDITION TO ALL GENERAL AND SAFETY RULES - THE FOLLOWING CLASS RULES WILL APPLY.
BODY
  1. A body is required. It can be constructed from metal, fiberglass or plastic and can be any design.
  2. A firewall and floor pan must be present protecting driver from engine and drive line components.
CHASSIS
  1. Chassis material, design and workmanship must meet safety requirements and tech approval.
  2. Rear engine vehicles roll cage must provide adequate protection to driver legs.
  3. Any type suspension allowed.
  4. Minimum 44" DOT/Military with no alterations or Agricultural/Industrial of any size allowed.
  5. All tires must be same diameter as stamped by Manufacturer.
  6. Minimum of 1 ton front and rear differentials.
  7. Minimum of 6 point roll-cage required.
  8. cannot compete in other classes with same truck
  9. Must have adequate brakes to stop truck in an emergency situation.
ENGINE
  1. Any automotive type engine acceptable (aluminium blocks allowed)
  2. Any carburettor or injection allowed, NOS, Superchargers, or Turbos allowed.
  3. Gas or Alcohol only, no nitro methane or similar fuel accelerators.
  4. Open Headers allowed.
